01. AML CONSULTATIONS
Practical AML support for companies subject to the Act’s obligations – without the need to hire an additional specialist.
Every obligated institution faces questions that are difficult to answer simply: is our procedure up to date? How should we prepare for a GIIF inspection? What changes with the entry into force of new regulations? What obligations does our company face?
AMLsense consultations offer a direct conversation with an expert – a specific, practical answer based on years of operational experience.
Scope of consultation
- Obligations arising from the AML Act - what exactly does your company have to have and do?
- Preparing for a GIIF inspection - what is the regulator looking for and how to prepare for it
- KYC and CDD processes - customer onboarding, verification, documentation
- Suspicious transactions and reporting - when and how to report, how to keep records
- VASP and CASP Obligations - MiCA, Travel Rule, registration, transaction monitoring
- Responsibilities specific to your industry - fintech, real estate, accounting offices, currency exchange offices, and more
- Questions and doubts in the AML area - answers to questions that arise in everyday work
Forms of cooperation
- One-time expert consultation - online session devoted to a specific issue. Perfect when you need an expert answer to one question or a quick verification of a document or process.
- Ongoing AML Collaboration - a fixed number of hours per month dedicated to ongoing AML support. For companies that regularly require answers to regulatory questions, document reviews, or support with regulatory changes. The collaboration includes an agreed-upon number of consultation hours, ongoing email inquiries, documentation reviews upon request, and a monthly summary of significant regulatory changes. Ongoing collaboration does not include outsourcing of AMLRO functions.

02. RISK ASSESSMENT AND AML PROCEDURE
AML documentation compliant with GIIF requirements – written from a practitioner’s perspective, not a theoretician’s.
The AML Act imposes two separate documentation obligations on each obligated institution: preparing a risk assessment (Article 27) and developing an internal AML procedure (Article 50). Both documents must be consistent, tailored to the specific nature of the business, and regularly updated. The risk assessment is the foundation of a properly prepared procedure – errors made during the risk assessment stage have a direct impact on all other AML obligations.
Risk Assessment (Article 27 of the AML Act)
A risk assessment is a separate document that determines a company’s vulnerability to money laundering and terrorist financing risks, taking into account the specific nature of its business, clients, and services offered. According to the AML Act, it is subject to regular updates, at least every two years. A well-prepared risk assessment is the starting point for all other AML obligations.
AML Procedure (Article 50 of the AML Act)
The internal AML procedure defines the company’s rules of conduct regarding counteracting money laundering and terrorist financing. It must be tailored to the specific nature of the business – a generic template downloaded from the internet will not suffice and will not meet the expectations of the General Inspectorate of Financial Information (GIIF) during an inspection.
The documentation I prepare may include:
- Risk assessment of the obligated institution (Article 27)
- Internal AML procedure (Article 50)
- KYC and CDD procedure - customer identification and verification
- Transaction Monitoring Policy
- Procedure for reporting suspicious transactions to the GIIF
- Procedure for anonymous reporting of violations
- Forms and checklists for employees

03. AML TRAINING
Expert knowledge delivered by someone who understands AML from the inside – including from the perspective of the regulator’s expectations. I participate in closed GIIF training sessions, which directly impacts the quality and relevance of the training I conduct.
Article 52 of the AML Act imposes on all obligated institutions the obligation to ensure the participation of individuals performing AML activities in training programs. According to the guidelines of the regulatory authorities, compliance with this obligation should be documented – the documents should clearly indicate who received the training, when, to what extent, and by whom.
Available formats
- Closed training - dedicated to a single company, with a program tailored to the industry and business specifics. Online or in-person, for the entire team or selected individuals. Each participant receives training materials, a knowledge test, and an AMLsense certificate. I provide complete training documentation in accordance with the requirements of Article 52 of the AML Act.
- Open training - online, for participants from various companies. The open training schedule is published in advance. Each participant receives a knowledge test and AMLsense certificate.
- Online course—to be completed independently at your own pace. Knowledge test and certificate upon completion. First edition in preparation: AML for crypto companies and VASPs - obligations, procedures, Travel Rule.
AMLsense Certificate
- Each AMLsense training course concludes with a knowledge test and a personalized certificate confirming completion. In accordance with the guidelines of the General Inspectorate of Financial Information (GIIF), the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (UKNF), and the National Bank of Poland (NBP), a certificate of participation, along with the training program, is recommended proof of participation in external training and is part of the documentation required for inspections.
